Sometimes, the extractor fans experience a reduction in power efficiency due to the accumulation of grease and dirt. If that is the case, cleaning the cooker hood will definitely improve the fans’ performance. However, if slowing of the fan is due to ageing of the appliance, then cleaning will not be able to resolve the issue.
