Last updated: 22 September 2026

HomeHelpy Singapore Private Limited ("HomeHelpy", "we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to herein, sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

If you are under 18, please do not send any personal data about yourself to us.

1. Information We Collect

To deliver and improve our on-demand home services, we may collect and process the following types of data:

1.1 Information You Provide

This includes information you provide when filling in forms on our website www.homehelpy.com ("our site"), such as:

  • When registering for an account
  • When booking a service
  • When subscribing to newsletters or updates
  • When submitting feedback or reporting an issue
  • When participating in promotions or surveys

Not every booking is made on our site. Where you arrange a service through our staff — by phone, WhatsApp or another direct channel — we record the details needed to fulfil that booking on your behalf, including your name, contact number, email address and service address. This does not create an online account, and we do not create one for you without asking.

1.2 Correspondence

If you contact us via email, phone, WhatsApp, or other channels, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

1.3 Transactional & Service Data

  • Booking details
  • Service fulfillment information
  • Payment transaction records (processed via secure third-party providers)
  • Credit Package purchase records, including session count, duration, validity period, and expiry timestamp
  • Voucher and reward redemption history, including discount type, amount saved, and the booking linked to each redemption

1.4 Website & Usage Data

Details of your visits to our site including:

  • Log data
  • IP address
  • Device information
  • Pages viewed
  • Browsing behavior
  • Cookies and analytics data

(See "Cookies" section below.)

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Data may be archived as long as those purposes remain valid.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information may be used inside or outside Singapore for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring that content from our site is presented effectively
  • Providing you with notifications, newsletters, and information you request
  • Carrying out our contractual obligations (e.g., fulfilling home cleaning bookings)
  • Allowing participation in interactive features (e.g., reviews, promotions)
  • Conducting customer profiling, segmentation, surveys, and statistical analysis
  • Improving our products and services
  • Complying with applicable laws and regulations
  • Managing legal processes, including payment collection and dispute resolution
  • Researching and developing new services or offerings
  • Marketing products, services, promotions, or events, subject to your consent or opt-out rights
  • Any purposes directly related or incidental to the above

2.1 Direct Marketing

We may use your data for direct marketing only with your consent or where your consent is deemed given under the Personal Data Protection Act ("PDPA").

Information we may use for this purpose includes:

  • Demographic information

  3. Invitations to events, webinars, or surveys

Marketing may be conducted via email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, notifications, and other communication channels.

You may opt out at any time by contacting us (see Section 11).

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We treat personal data confidentially but may disclose it to:

  • Employees, agents, contractors, and service providers supporting our operations
  • Payment processors, IT vendors, and logistics partners
  • Professional advisers (lawyers, auditors)
  • Affiliates, partners, or related entities (if any)
  • Parties we are legally required to disclose information to
  • Actual or potential investors, buyers, or transferees (under strict confidentiality)

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users and improve your browsing experience.

  • Strictly necessary cookies
  • Analytical/performance cookies
  • Functionality cookies
  • Targeting/advertising cookies

Third-party cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) may also be used.

You may block cookies via your browser settings, but doing so may limit access to certain features.

5. Third-Party Services & Data Processors

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform. Each processes certain personal data as described below:

  • Google Maps Platform — used for address autocomplete when you enter a service location during booking. Address data you type is sent to Google's servers to generate suggestions.
  • Google Firebase Authentication — used to manage user accounts and sign-in. When you register or log in (including via passwordless magic link), basic account data (email address, device information, and IP address) is processed by Google's Firebase infrastructure.
  • Stripe — used as our payment processor. When you make a payment, your card details and billing information are handled directly by Stripe's secure infrastructure. HomeHelpy does not store card numbers. Stripe is operated by Stripe, Inc. and subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Twilio — used to send one-time passcodes (OTP) via SMS for phone number verification, and to send WhatsApp session reminders and support messages. Your phone number is transmitted to Twilio's servers for this purpose.
  • SendGrid — used to deliver transactional emails including booking confirmations, invoices, password reset links, and magic link sign-in emails. Your email address is transmitted to SendGrid's servers for this purpose.
  • Sentry — used for application error monitoring and diagnostics on both the website and backend. When an error occurs, Sentry may capture technical information including error stack traces, IP address, device information, and contextual data associated with your session. This data is used solely to identify and fix software issues. Sentry is operated by Functional Software, Inc. and subject to Sentry's Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Azure & Application Insights — our platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Azure Application Insights is used for server-side performance monitoring and request logging. This may include IP addresses, request paths, and response times. Data is processed in accordance with Microsoft's Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog — used for product analytics and feature testing, including A/B tests for new features. PostHog may collect behavioural data such as pages visited, features used, and interactions with the Platform. If you are logged in, this data may be associated with your account to help us understand how our services are used and improve them. You may opt out of analytics tracking by contacting us (see Section 11).

Google services are operated by Google LLC and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not use Google APIs to access or store data beyond what is necessary to provide the features described above. Data obtained through Google APIs is not shared with third parties or used for advertising purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your information. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. By using our website, you acknowledge this risk.

You are responsible for keeping your login password confidential.

7. Third-Party Websites

Our site may contain links to external websites. HomeHelpy is not responsible for the privacy practices of those linked sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting personal data.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Any updates to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Data Storage & Transfers

We may store your data on servers located in Singapore or other territories. We may also transfer data to entities listed in Section 3, whether inside or outside Singapore, in compliance with the PDPA.

10. Request for Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. You can do this yourself at any time from Account → Security → Delete my account, or by contacting us via the details in Section 11.

When you delete your account, we close it immediately and you will no longer be able to sign in. We are required under Section 46 of the Singapore Goods and Services Tax Act to keep records of our customers, services and billing for 5 years, so your booking and payment history is retained for at least that period. After that, we will delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed for legal, tax, insurance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory purposes. We will not contact you for marketing or reminders once your account is closed.

You may need to settle a few things before deleting — an active plan, upcoming sessions, or unused session credits you have paid for. We will tell you which, so nothing you are owed is lost by accident.

If you booked through our staff and have never registered an online account, there is no account to close. Contact us using the details in Section 11 and we will act on your request; your booking and payment records are kept for the periods described above, and we will not contact you for marketing or reminders.

11. Your Rights Under the PDPA

You have the right to:

  • Check whether we hold personal data about you
  • Request access to such data
  • Request corrections of inaccurate data
  • Object to the use of your data for direct marketing or analytics tracking
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal requirements)

Corrections are applied to your profile and to future bookings. Records of completed transactions — invoices, receipts, and the contact and address details a past booking was carried out under — are not amended, because we are required to keep them as they were issued.

Even if your account is deleted, we may retain certain information (e.g., invoices, booking history, Credit Package purchase records, voucher redemption history, and customer identity information) for at least 5 years where required by law, and for longer where necessary for legal, tax, insurance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory purposes.

To exercise your rights or raise a complaint, contact:

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
